A thankyou to our community, developers, translators & PromoteDGB!
We’ve had such a busy time lately, I wanted to stop and take a moment to thank everybody who’s been helping push DigiByte forward!
The last few months have really been about getting everything all lined up ready for mass adoption. A large number of things all need to come together to accomplish this, and we’ve been seeing this all taking shape.
So first I want to thank our community, your enthusiasm and passion is palpable, and for a good reason too! We believe we’ve got something special and unique here with DigiByte. Thankyou for your support for the Foundation, for me personally with my videos etc, for the donations you’ve given, for the time spent helping people on Reddit / Telegram / Twitter, and so much more. It’s your generosity that has allowed us to run these first 4 Dev Bounties, we’ve seen water given to the Red Cross and orphaned children fed in Cúcuta.
To our developers and bounty-hunters, it’s been amazing seeing the work you’ve been doing and the hard-yards you’ve put in. You’ve squashed bugs, made improvements, and even the little quality-of-life things are all going to make these wallets truly world-class. We’ve seen the release of the Core Wallets, and the mobile wallets aren’t too far off either.
We’ve seen the Mobile UI redesign contest, we had some amazing submissions and the above image is taken from the winning concept submission. Thankyou to all who participated in that with your submissions and the subsequent voting process!
As I’ve previously mentioned though, it may take a while for this to be implemented, it won’t be in the initial release, but we’ll get there :-)
I want to thank those who’ve been helping with the Translations, working on everything from the mobile-wallet translations through to helping us with translating documents, images, presentations and more.
I’m also pleased to announce that Luis F. Valle has also translated our proposal for the Venezuela project in to Spanish too! https://drive.google.com/open?id=1iIXBRZQfqVdzD9MCQODwmk_uh14r70xP
The document looks stunning too, and it’s thanks to Damir for taking my bland Google Doc that I provided him and making it look slick, with all the artwork / images / layout.
Damir has been heading up PromoteDGB, with Nigel, Fafla Faf and the rest of the team, and we’ve seen some stunning image designs such as this coming from them:
The combination of all of this is what makes our DigiByte community so amazing, and so I just wanted to take this chance to say:
